No Wearable, Just Game Film
Nearly 30,000 high schools exist in North America, but fewer than 1% use GPS wearables for sports. Meanwhile, every NCAA and NFL team relies on GPS and video analysis to drive coaching decisions. GPS tech gives athletes a competitive edge, but high costs, staffing, and data processing make it unrealistic for most high schools.
To bridge this gap, we turned to Dartfish, a proven video analysis platform used by our team for over a decade. This led to the creation of Game Speed Data, founded by Sherilyn Fiveash (Hi Five Digital Productions), Jacob Meyer (Tactical Tennis), and Burt Weller (STANDOUT Sports Highlights). Our service provides high school athletes with affordable, year-round access to performance metrics linked to game footage, helping them stand out in the recruiting process.
A leader in sports performance analysis, Dartfish has powered Olympic, professional, and collegiate programs for over 20 years. In 2019, they introduced video-based player tracking, extracting precise performance data with 3D visual overlays.
At Texas A&M, Dartfish’s data was found to be 96% accurate compared to GPS wearables, proving its reliability. Widely used in college programs, Dartfish now helps us bring elite-level insights to high school athletes—giving them the tools to get noticed and maximize recruiting opportunities.
